After seeing my extended family build a care home in the valleys of South Wales, I was immediately inspired and attracted to the complex but rewarding nature of the healthcare business.

When we purchased our first care home back in 1997, it was because we wanted to make a difference; we saw that older people often don’t get the quality of care they deserve, after a life of contribution.

We determined to do three things: provide great care and facilities; employ passionate, dedicated people, and develop our team with the latest training and personal development coaching. To underpin this, we set out the Hallmark Charter. The Charter is the foundation of everything we do. It’s our benchmark, our vision, our statement.

There are now 15 care homes across the Hallmark family of homes. From Cardiff to Wimbledon, our homes are recognised in the industry for raising the bar in terms of standards of care for elderly people living in the UK.
